Mama Cat Is Overjoyed To See Her Newborn Baby Again

Gisèle’s life was turned upside down when she became pregnant.

Her family decided they didn’t want the kittens and would leave the pregnant cat outside in the dead of winter. Fortunately, Gisèle’s 12-year-old sister overheard the conversation and volunteered to assist.

On Facebook, Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a rescue organization located in Montreal, Canada, commented, “She was highly touched by this scenario and presumably unhappy.” “After hugging the kitten, the little girl proceeded to knock on a neighbor’s door to seek for assistance.”

The neighbor understood that the cat’s situation was urgent, and called a rescuer to bring Gisèle to an animal shelter. Days later, Gisèle gave birth to a healthy baby named Pruno.

“He was a very vocal little baby and clung to his pacifiers,” Chatons Orphelins Montréal said.

Gisèle and her baby appeared to be on their way out of the woods, but things took a turn for the worst a day later. Gisèle had stopped eating and was unable to care for Pruno, so the rescuers hurried her to the vet clinic, where an illness was diagnosed.

Gisèle yearned for her kid while she recovered from surgery, and she cried out for him. The rescuers organized a reunion, which turned out to be much nicer than they could have anticipated.

“When they saw each other, they immediately recognized each other,” Chatons Orphelins Montréal said. “Gisèle was super nice and sweet with him, and started to lick him gently.”

Gisèle and Pruno are now in a wonderful foster family, receiving all of the love and attention they need. Gisèle is happiest when she’s with her baby, and Pruno couldn’t wish for a better cat mother.
